此謂「略教」之別序也。創佛利機，未勞麁顯，直舉綱要，聞皆會道。

This refers to the separate preface of the ‘abbreviated teaching.’ When the Buddha initially guided those of sharp faculties, there was no need to labor over coarse and obvious rules; directly raising the essentials, all who heard understood the Way.
