3.82

佛在舍衛。六群以衣覆頭入白衣舍，居士譏言：「何有正法！覆頭如盜賊。」比丘聞之舉過，佛訶制戒。

The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six entered the homes of laypeople with their heads covered, and householders criticized them, saying: "What true Dharma is this! Covering their heads like bandits." The bhikṣus heard this and reported the fault, and the Buddha reproached them and laid down the precept.
