Venerables, I have recited the thirteen saṃghāvaśeṣa dharmas. Nine precepts are offenses upon the initial commission; four become so upon the third admonition. If a bhikṣu commits any one dharma and knowingly conceals it, he must be compelled to undergo parivāsa. Having completed parivāsa, he must additionally be given six nights of mānatva. Having performed mānatva, he should be granted rehabilitation. This bhikṣu's offense must be rehabilitated amidst a Saṃgha of twenty. If there is even one person fewer, so that the assembly does not reach twenty, the offense of this bhikṣu cannot be removed, and the bhikṣus are also blameworthy. This is the proper procedure.
