The Buddha said: "This refers to places where sexual intercourse can be performed. There are three kinds of sexual intercourse: the realms of humans, non-humans, and animals. Furthermore, there are five kinds: women, maiden girls, persons of dual gender, paṇḍakas, and men. If a bhikṣu with lustful intent approaches these three places or two places of the object, as soon as he first enters he commits an offense; he also commits an offense even if there is a barrier. If he approaches one asleep, or a corpse that is not yet decayed, or one largely undecayed, and performs sexual intercourse in the three places or two places, as soon as he first enters he commits an offense; and so on as spoken in detail. If a bhikṣu is taken by enemies to an aforementioned place and forcibly made to enter the three places or two places: if upon initial entry he feels pleasure, he commits an offense; if he feels no pleasure, he does not commit an offense; with or without a barrier is also the same as above. If enemies forcibly seize a bhikṣu to perform an act of impurity, whether he feels pleasure or no pleasure, and whether with or without a barrier, is also as above."
