(If both exceed, or one exceeds while the other is less, whether one makes it oneself or has another make it: if completed, it is an offense of falling [prāyaścittika]; if not completed, a duṣkṛta. If one makes it for another, whether completed or not completed, it is a duṣkṛta. For bhikṣuṇīs and others, it is a duṣkṛta. There is no offense if it accords with the measure, is less than the measure, or if, having obtained one already made, one cuts it to the measure, or makes it by folding.)
