第二不定，文亦三句：一容犯人、二辨不定相、三結不定名。第二辨相，文亦四節：一、「共女露坐說非法語」，是罪由緒所見事相。二、依前由緒所見事相來向僧說。但說二罪，以其露處無容婬故。三、於由緒中因見事相舉告眾僧，眾僧詰得此二定罪，故隨治之。四、前人諱罪，應信聖女，執彼有犯。罪處所、治義，准前廣說。第三結已審持，如文。此中不得定懺何罪，故不得入篇。又無懺文也。

The second indeterminate precept also has three clauses: first, permitting the offender; second, identifying the indeterminate characteristics; third, concluding with the indeterminate name. In the second, identifying the characteristics, the text also has four sub-clauses: First, 'Sitting in the open with a woman, speaking improper words' is the circumstance seen at the venue of the offence. Second, based on the circumstance seen at the preceding venue, she comes to report to the Saṃgha. She only speaks of two offences, because in an open place there is no possibility of sexual intercourse. Third, within the venue, based on the circumstance seen, [the matter] is reported to the Saṃgha, and the Saṃgha interrogates and obtains these two determinate offences, and thus penalizes him accordingly. Fourth, the aforementioned person conceals the offence; one should believe the noble woman and hold him to have committed an offence. The legal procedure for the venue of an offence and the meaning of penalization are as fully explained before. Third, concluding with careful observation, as in the text. In this, because it cannot be determined which offence to confess, it cannot be included among the categories [of offences]. Furthermore, there is no confession text [for it].
