「大德僧聽！我此住處比丘，為僧稱四方小界相：從此住處東南角某標，西迴至西南角某標，從此北迴至西北角某標，從此東迴至東北角某標，從此南迴還至東南角某標。此是戒場外相一周訖。」（三說已。）

"May the venerable saṃgha listen! I, a bhikṣu of this dwelling place, proclaim for the saṃgha the markers of the four directions of the khaṇḍasīmā: from such-and-such marker at the southeast corner of this dwelling place, turning west to such-and-such marker at the southwest corner; from there turning north to such-and-such marker at the northwest corner; from there turning east to such-and-such marker at the northeast corner; and from there turning south, returning to such-and-such marker at the southeast corner. This concludes one full circuit of the outer markers of the platform for precepts." (Say this three times.)
