（佛言：「三語受戒已，名善作羯磨。」〈說戒法〉中亦爾。《十誦律》云：「對首心念分衣已，名作羯磨。後來比丘不與分。」義分二別：一、但對首法；二、眾法對首法。文通諸部，並如下列。）

(The Buddha said: “When one has received ordination through the threefold utterance, it is called a well-performed karman.” The same is stated in the 〈Chapter on Upoṣadha〉. The Daśādhyāya-vinaya says: “When robes have been divided by sammukhībhūta and cetanā, this is called performing a karman. A monk who arrives later is not given a share.” In terms of meaning, there are two divisions: first, exclusive sammukhībhūta procedures; second, assembly-based sammukhībhūta procedures.
