（《律》中，准羯磨文，為授具足者，須乞畜眾法。若按〈受戒揵度〉中，前具列和上德已，總結文云：「如是畜依止，畜沙彌亦爾。」故知並須，以無德不合故。）

(In the Vinaya, based on the text of the karman, one who confers upasampadā must request the procedure to maintain a following. If based on the "Skandhaka on Receiving Precepts", after fully listing the virtues of an upādhyāya earlier, the concluding text states: "Maintaining niśraya is like this; maintaining a śrāmaṇera is also like this." Therefore, one knows that both are necessary, because without the virtues it is not permissible.)
