（夫界有二。若作法界，則唯三種，謂大界、戒場、小界。若論小界，無外可集。若戒場、大界，並盡唱制限集之。）

(Boundaries are of two kinds. If they are boundaries established by ritual procedure (kṛta-sīmā), there are only three kinds: the mahāsīmā, the ordination platform (sīmā-maṇḍala), and the khaṇḍasīmā. With regard to the khaṇḍasīmā, there is no outside area to assemble from. With regard to the ordination platform and the mahāsīmā, one must assemble everyone within the announced limits.)
