（佛言：「尼滿十二歲欲度人者，應具修威儀，禮諸尼僧足，如大僧法三乞已。」文同故不出。其度沙彌尼、式叉尼、大戒尼，並須別乞。以年年度弟子犯罪故，或捨畜眾法等故。）

(The Buddha said: "A bhikṣuṇī who has completed twelve years and wishes to ordain others should fully observe the proper deportment, pay homage at the feet of the assembly of bhikṣuṇīs, and request three times, just as in the rule for great monks." Because the text is identical, it is not set forth here. When ordaining śrāmaṇerikās, śikṣamāṇās, or fully ordained bhikṣuṇīs, separate requests must always be made, because ordaining disciples year after year constitutes an offense, or because of relinquishing the procedure for keeping followers, and so forth.)
