（三、明說欲法。《僧祇》云：「不得輙爾與人欲，應與堪能持欲僧中說者。」若有說者，羯磨人如上問已，彼受欲者應答是言：）

(Third, explaining the procedure for conveying consent. The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya states: "One must not casually grant consent to anyone; one should grant it to someone competent to bear consent and declare it in the saṃgha." If someone conveys it, after the karman officiant has asked as above, that receiver of consent should reply as follows:)
