（謂僧私兩緣。僧中，或創立法處，則竪標唱相，或常所集用，則行籌告白等。私事亦二，若違情治罰，則作舉與罪；若順情請許，多須乞詞，至文具顯。）

(This refers to the two conditions of communal and private. In the saṃgha, if establishing a ritual site anew, one sets up markers and announces the boundary marks; or if it is for regular assembly and use, one distributes voting tallies (śalākā) and makes announcements. Private matters are also twofold: if disciplining contrary to desire, one carries out suspension and imposes guilt; if requesting approval according to desire, it mostly requires formal words of petition, as fully revealed in the text.)
