（《律》云：「應答言：『作某羯磨。』」然事有先後，法緣通別。說戒、自恣應在後作。受戒、捨墮，義兼通別。若結界、捨界，理無雙答。並先須詳委，然後答問。）

(The Vinaya states: "One should reply, saying: 'Perform such-and-such a karman.'" However, matters have an order of precedence, and ritual conditions have general and specific aspects. Upoṣadha and pravāraṇā should be performed afterward. Ordination and relinquishment of forfeiture (niḥsargika) partake of both general and specific senses. As for binding and releasing boundaries, in principle there is no joint response. One must first scrutinize these in detail, and only then reply to the question.)
