（《論》云：「除錢及寶等，一切長財，並以五眾為施主。若說淨錢寶市得衣物，不須淨施。」《僧祇》云：「施主若死等，不得過十日，更覓施主說淨。」《毘尼母》云：「若衣物未說淨、點淨、縫衣著已淨者，則名衣和合淨。若色非法，縫著如法者，是名色衣和合淨，更不須別淨。」）

(The treatises say: "Except for money, treasures, and the like, all extra property takes members of the five classes of disciples as donor-partners. If robes and items are bought with purified money and treasures, they do not require purification through vikalpana." The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya says: "If the donor-partner dies, etc., one must not exceed ten days without finding another donor-partner to perform purification." The Vinayamātṛkā says: "If cloth that has not been purified through vikalpana or marked with a spot is sewn into a robe that has already been purified, it is called composite purification of robes. If its dye is improper, but it is sewn onto one that is in accordance with the Dharma, it is called composite purification of dyed robes, and does not require separate purification.")
