（佛言：「若四人已上，當白已說戒。」於十四、十五、十六日說戒，聽上座於布薩日，白僧言：）

(The Buddha said: 'If there are four persons or more, they must make a jñapti and then recite the precepts.' They recite the precepts on the fourteenth, fifteenth, or sixteenth day. The sthavira is permitted to address the saṃgha with a jñapti on the day of upoṣadha, saying:)
