「是僧伽梨，（若干）條衣受，（若干）長（若干）短，（割截、褋葉）衣持。」（三說。）

"I determine this saṃghāṭī of [such-and-such number of] strips, with [such-and-such number of] long and [such-and-such number of] short [panels], and keep it as a [cut-piece / applied-patch] robe." (To be spoken three times.)
