（佛言：「若自恣日，往說戒堂，掃洒、敷坐具、盛水器、洗脚器、然燈火、具舍羅，為待客比丘。」若無來者，應心生口言：）

(The Buddha said: "On the day of pravāraṇā, one goes to the upoṣadha hall, sweeps and sprinkles it, spreads the seating mats, prepares water vessels and foot-washing vessels, lights lamps and fires, and prepares tallies, so as to await visiting bhikṣus." If no one comes, one should mentally formulate and verbally say:)
