（《十誦》：「有比丘死，衣物眾多，王家、親屬並欲取物。佛言：『王親不合，僧應得之。』」乃至今時，雖依三寶出家，財法必緣僧得，佛、法非分，故入二僧，廣如《鈔》中說。）

(The Daśādhyāya-vinaya states: "A bhikṣu died, leaving many robes and goods. Both the royal family and his relatives wished to take the goods. The Buddha said: 'It is not appropriate for the king or relatives; the saṃgha should receive them.'" Even down to the present day, although one goes forth in reliance on the Three Jewels, material goods and Dharmic rights must accrue to the saṃgha; the Buddha and the Dharma do not take shares, hence they go to the two assemblies of the saṃgha, as explained extensively in the Xingshichao.)
