（《律本》云：「有疑，聽捨已更受。」不出捨文。《僧祇》云，有緣須捨者，具修威儀，加云：）

(The Vinaya root text states: "If there is doubt, it is permitted to relinquish it and determine it again." It does not provide the text for relinquishment. The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya states that if there is a cause requiring relinquishment, one fully prepares one's deportment and adds the formula, saying:)
