「大德僧聽！比丘某甲命過，所有衣物現前僧應分。僧今持是衣物與比丘某甲，某甲當還與僧。誰諸長老忍『某甲比丘命過，所有衣物現前僧應分，僧今持與比丘某甲，某甲當還與僧』者默然，誰不忍者說。

"May the venerable saṃgha listen! Bhikṣu N.N. has passed away; all his robes and belongings should be distributed by the present saṃgha. The saṃgha now takes these robes and belongings and gives them to Bhikṣu N.N., and N.N. shall give them back to the saṃgha. Whichever venerable ones approve that 'Bhikṣu N.N. has passed away; all his robes and belongings should be distributed by the present saṃgha, and the saṃgha now takes them and gives them to Bhikṣu N.N., and N.N. shall give them back to the saṃgha,' remain silent; whoever does not approve, speak!"
