（佛言：「若一日受眾多請，自受一請，餘者施與人，言：『長老！我應往彼，今布施汝。』」《僧祇》云：「我今得食，施與某甲比丘，乃至沙彌尼。」）

(The Buddha said: "If in one day one receives many invitations, one accepts one invitation for oneself and gives the rest to others, saying: 'Venerable, I should have gone there; I now bestow it upon you.'" The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya says: "I have now received food, and bestow it upon bhikṣu N.N., or even upon a śrāmaṇerī.")
