2.58

（一、別知食體，與淨人所授之食者，心境相當，非錯彼此；二、有心自食，非為餘事；三、如《律》手受，具二五法，無非威儀事者。）

(First, distinctly knowing the substance of the food, so that one's mind corresponds with the object of food offered by the kappiya-kāraka, without confusing one for the other; second, having the intention to eat it oneself, not for any other purpose; third, receiving by hand as prescribed in the Vinaya, fulfilling the two sets of five factors, with nothing contrary to proper deportment.)
