（佛言：「聽以梨、棗、[卄/(麩-夫+玉)]蔗等汁作漿。若不醉人，應非時飲，亦不應今日受漿，留至明日。若飲，如法治。」《僧祇》、《五分律》開受蜜漿。若諸果汁澄如水色，以水渧淨已。義加受法云：）

(The Buddha said: "I allow using the juice of pears, dates, sugarcane, and the like to make syrup. If it does not intoxicate people, it may be drunk outside the [allowed] time; nor should syrup received today be kept until tomorrow. If one drinks it [otherwise], deal with it according to the Dharma." The Mahāsāṃghika and Mahīśāsaka vinayas allow receiving honey syrup. If the fruit juice is clear like the color of water, after filtering it clean with water drops, constructively add the reception formula, saying:)
