（佛言：「長衣者，長如來八指，廣四指，應淨施，不者犯墮。除波利迦羅衣，不現前等。」《薩婆多》云「不應量者」，過十日捨，作突吉羅悔。乃至錢、寶、穀、米等亦爾。佛指面廣二寸也。）

(The Buddha said: "An extra robe that is eight Tathāgata-fingerbreadths long and four fingerbreadths wide must be purified through vikalpana; if not, one commits a pāyattika. Except for parikkhāra robes, those not present before one, etc." The Sarvāstivāda says: "For those not conforming to the measure," if kept past ten days, relinquish them and confess with a duṣkṛta. This also applies to money, treasures, grain, rice, and the like. The width of a Tathāgata finger is two inches.)
