（下衣有四種，謂割截、襵葉、褋葉、縵作。就中有正、從二品。先明正有三種，從有二十一種。若作襵葉、褋葉二種衣者，加授文時，餘詞同上，但改下「襵葉衣持」或「褋葉衣持」。若從衣受，持者應如是加云：）

(For the lower robe there are four kinds: cut-piece, folded-patch, applied-patch, and plain unpieced. Among them there are standard and secondary grades. First, to explain the standard, there are three kinds; the secondary has twenty-one kinds. If making the two kinds of robes with folded patches or applied patches, when adding to the recitation text, the other words are the same as above, only changing the end to "keep it as a folded-patch robe" or "keep it as an applied-patch robe". If determining a secondary robe, the person keeping it should add as follows:)
