大德一心念！我某甲，今請大德為羯磨阿闍梨，願大德為我作羯磨阿闍梨。我依大德故，得受具足戒，慈愍故。（三說。應報：）可爾。

"May the bhadanta focus his single-minded attention! I, named so-and-so, now request the bhadanta to be my karmācārya; I pray that the bhadanta will act as my karmācārya. By relying upon the bhadanta, I will obtain upasampadā, out of your compassion." (To be spoken three times. He should respond:) "It is acceptable."
