大德僧聽！僧差某甲比丘，為僧作分物人。誰諸長老忍僧差某甲比丘，為僧作分物人者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍差某甲比丘，為僧作分物人竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

"Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! The saṃgha appoints bhikṣu so-and-so to act as distributor of goods for the saṃgha. Whichever āyuṣmats consent to the saṃgha appointing bhikṣu so-and-so to act as distributor of goods for the saṃgha, let them remain silent; whoever does not consent, let him speak. The saṃgha has consented to appoint bhikṣu so-and-so to act as distributor of goods for the saṃgha. The saṃgha consents, because it is silent; thus is this matter maintained."
