大德僧聽！某甲比丘命過，所有若衣、非衣，此現前僧應分；僧今與某甲比丘，某甲比丘當還與僧。誰諸長老忍某甲比丘命過，所有若衣、非衣，此現前僧應分；僧今與某甲比丘，某甲比丘當還與僧者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與某甲比丘，某甲比丘當還與僧竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（分法如前。）

"Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! Bhikṣu so-and-so has passed away. All [goods], whether robes or non-robes, this saṃgha present ought to divide; the saṃgha now gives [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and bhikṣu so-and-so shall distribute [them] back to the saṃgha. Whichever āyuṣmats consent that bhikṣu so-and-so has passed away, and all [goods], whether robes or non-robes, this saṃgha present ought to divide, and the saṃgha now gives [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and bhikṣu so-and-so shall distribute [them] back to the saṃgha, let them remain silent; whoever does not consent, let him speak. The saṃgha has consented to give [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and bhikṣu so-and-so shall distribute [them] back to the saṃgha. The saṃgha consents, because it is silent; thus is this matter maintained." (The method of division is as before.)
