大德僧聽！某甲比丘命過，所有若衣、非衣，此現前僧應分，今現前僧分是衣物。誰諸長老忍某甲比丘命過，所有若衣、非衣，此現前僧應分，今現前僧分是衣物者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍今現前僧分是衣物竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（作羯磨已，分法如前。有看病人，應口和賞。）

"Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! Bhikṣu so-and-so has passed away. All [goods], whether robes or non-robes, this saṃgha present ought to divide; now the saṃgha present divides these robe-goods. Whichever āyuṣmats consent that bhikṣu so-and-so has passed away, and all [goods], whether robes or non-robes, this saṃgha present ought to divide, and now the saṃgha present divides these robe-goods, let them remain silent; whoever does not consent, let him speak. The saṃgha has consented that now the saṃgha present divides these robe-goods. The saṃgha consents, because it is silent; thus is this matter maintained." (Having performed the karman, the method of division is as before. If there is a caretaker of the sick, one should verbally agree to reward him.)
