大德僧聽！今有爾許比丘集結小界。誰諸長老忍爾許比丘集結小界者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍爾許比丘集結小界竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

"May the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! Now so many bhikṣus have gathered to demarcate a small sīmā. Whichever āyuṣmats approve that so many bhikṣus gather to demarcate a small sīmā, let them remain silent; whoever does not approve, let him speak. The saṃgha has approved that so many bhikṣus gather to demarcate a small sīmā. The saṃgha approves, because of the silence. Thus do I hold this matter."
