諸大德憶念！我某甲比丘，故畜等。（餘詞同上，唯不得稱僧為異。次請一清淨比丘為懺悔主，請詞如前。其懺悔主既受請已，未得即許，應改單白為問邊人，問彼二比丘云：）

"May the bhadantas remember! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, intentionally kept..." and so forth. (The rest of the words are the same as above, differing only in that one must not say "saṃgha". Next, request a pure bhikṣu to be the master of confession; the words of request are as before. When the master of confession has received the request, before he may immediately grant permission, he should change the single motion to an inquiry to those beside him, asking those two bhikṣus as follows:)
