俗還物法（若彼人取，還與比丘者，當作彼人物故受，勅淨人使賞之；若得淨衣鉢、針筒、尼師壇，應易受持。若優婆塞取已，與比丘淨衣鉢、尼師壇、針筒者，應取持之。）

Procedure when the layperson returns the item: (If that person takes it and returns it to the bhikṣu, the bhikṣu should accept it regarding it as that person's property, and instruct a kappiya-kāraka to reward him. If he obtains allowable robes, a bowl, a needle-case, or a niṣīdana, he should exchange it and accept and keep it. If the upāsaka, having taken it, gives the bhikṣu allowable robes, a bowl, a niṣīdana, or a needle-case, he should take and keep them.)
