大德僧聽！我某甲比丘，犯某僧殘罪，覆藏（若干）日。我某甲比丘，犯某僧殘罪，隨覆藏（若干）日，已從僧乞覆藏羯磨；僧已與我某甲比丘隨覆藏（若干）日羯磨。我某甲比丘行覆藏竟，已從僧乞六夜摩那埵；僧已與我某甲比丘六夜摩那埵。我某甲比丘行摩那埵，已行（若干）日，未行（若干）日，白大德僧令知，我行摩那埵。（若經說戒及往餘寺等白，同前准知。又有大眾難集等緣，捨及行法，亦同於前。）

"May the venerable saṃgha listen! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa offence and concealed it for [such-and-such a number of] days. Having committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa offence and concealed it for [such-and-such a number of] days, I, bhikṣu so-and-so, have already requested from the saṃgha the karman for concealment; the saṃgha has already granted to me, bhikṣu so-and-so, the karman for concealment corresponding to [such-and-such a number of] days. Having completed the practice of concealment, I, bhikṣu so-and-so, have already requested from the saṃgha the six nights' mānatva; the saṃgha has already granted to me, bhikṣu so-and-so, the six nights' mānatva. I, bhikṣu so-and-so, am performing mānatva; having practiced it for [such-and-such a number of] days and not yet practiced it for [such-and-such a number of] days, I announce to the venerable saṃgha so that it may know that I am performing mānatva." (Announcements when undergoing the recitation of the precepts or going to another monastery, etc., are to be understood by analogy as being the same as before. Furthermore, when there are causes such as difficulty in assembling the great assembly, relinquishing and resuming the practice are also the same as before.)
