"Let the bhadanta take note! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, have doubts concerning such-and-such an offense. I now declare it before the bhadanta; later, when free of doubt, I shall confess according to the Dharma." (Spoken once. Having done so, he is permitted to listen to the precepts.)
