3.21

"Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! I, the bhikṣu So-and-so, previously contracted an illness of insanity. At the time of reciting the precepts, I sometimes remembered and sometimes did not remember, sometimes came and sometimes did not come, and the saṃgha performed the karman for the illness of insanity for me. Having been performed, my illness has now ceased; I now beg the saṃgha for the revocation of the karman for insanity." (To be spoken three times. The saṃgha should confer the procedure:)
