大姊僧聽！彼某甲沙彌尼，今從僧乞二歲學戒，和尚尼某甲；僧今與彼某甲沙彌尼二歲學戒，和尚尼某甲。誰諸大姊忍僧與彼某甲沙彌尼二歲學戒，和尚尼某甲者默然，誰不忍者說。（三說。）僧已忍與某甲沙彌尼二歲學戒，和尚尼某甲竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

"Listen, ayye saṃgha! That śrāmaṇerikā named so-and-so now asks the saṃgha for two years of training in the precepts, with the upādhyāyinī named so-and-so; the saṃgha now grants that śrāmaṇerikā named so-and-so two years of training in the precepts, with the upādhyāyinī named so-and-so. Whichever of the ayyes consents to the saṃgha granting the śrāmaṇerikā named so-and-so two years of training in the precepts, with the upādhyāyinī named so-and-so, let her remain silent; whoever does not consent, let her speak. (Spoken three times.) The saṃgha has consented to grant the śrāmaṇerikā named so-and-so two years of training in the precepts, with the upādhyāyinī named so-and-so. The saṃgha consents, for it is silent: so is this matter maintained."
