羯磨授戒與度人法（律言：世尊制戒，雖聽度人，汝等愚癡，輒便度人，而不知教授。以不知教授故，不案威儀，乞食不如法，處處受不淨食，或受不淨鉢食，在小食、大食上高聲大喚，如婆羅門聚會法。自今已去，聽僧與授具足者白二羯磨。往彼僧中，具儀作如是求。）

The procedure for giving ordination and ordaining someone by karman. (The Vinaya states: The World-Honoured One established the precept: Although you are permitted to ordain people, you foolish ones rashly ordain people without knowing how to instruct them. Because of not knowing how to instruct them, they do not follow deportment, beg for food contrary to the Dharma, receive impure food everywhere or receive food in impure bowls, and shout loudly at light meals and main meals, like the assemblies of the brahmins. From now on, the saṃgha is permitted to grant upasampadā through a jñaptidvitīya-karman. One goes into that saṃgha and, fully comported, makes such a request:)
