大姊僧聽！於某城中某居士家，夫婦得信，為佛弟子，財物竭盡；僧今與作學家羯磨，諸比丘尼不得在某家受食食。誰諸大姊忍僧與某居士作學家羯磨者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與某居士作學家羯磨竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（若先受請、若有病、若置地與、若從人受、若學家施後財物還多，無犯。）

"Suṇātu me ayye saṃgho! In such-and-such a city, in the family of such-and-such a householder, the husband and wife have attained faith and become disciples of the Buddha, and their wealth and goods are exhausted; the saṃgha now carries out for them the karman of a trainee family, so that the bhikṣuṇīs may not receive food to eat in that family. Whichever ayyes approve of the saṃgha carrying out the karman of a trainee family for such-and-such a householder, let them remain silent; whoever does not approve, let her speak. The saṃgha has approved carrying out the karman of a trainee family for such-and-such a householder. The saṃgha approves, because it is silent; thus is this matter maintained." (If one had accepted an invitation beforehand, if one is sick, if it is placed on the ground and offered, if it is received from [another] person, or if after being designated a trainee family their wealth and goods have become plentiful again, there is no offence.)
