Procedure for establishing pure ground (If there is no place to prepare food within the saṅghārāma, the Buddha permitted establishing pure ground by a jñaptidvitīya-karman. One should designate rooms, or a storehouse, or a heated bathhouse, or a promenade. One bhikṣuṇī, having arisen and properly comporting herself, proclaims within the saṃgha its courtyards and places with fruit, vegetables, and the like to serve as pure ground.
