"I have committed such-and-such an offence; I now repent before the ayye." (If she further thinks: "Were I to speak to the person beside me, I fear it would disturb the assembly and prevent the recitation of the precepts from succeeding," that bhikṣuṇī should mentally say:) "I have committed such-and-such an offence; as soon as the assembly disperses, I shall repent dhammena." (Having done so, she is permitted to hear the recitation of the precepts.)
