將釋此經，略作十門：一、教起所因，二、諸藏所攝，三、攝教分齊，四、顯所為機，五、能詮教體，六、所詮宗趣，七、釋經題目，八、教起本末，九、部類傳譯，十、隨文解釋。

In explaining this sūtra, ten sections are briefly formulated: first, the causes for the arising of the teaching; second, what is subsumed under the piṭakas; third, the scope of the teaching subsumed; fourth, revealing the capacities for which it was delivered; fifth, the essence of the teaching that expresses [the meaning]; sixth, the core doctrine and purpose that are expressed; seventh, explaining the title of the sūtra; eighth, the origin and development of the teaching; ninth, the lineages and transmission of translations; tenth, explanation following the text.
