七、通塞者，若為治罰令悔，若為調伏令住善行，若自雖數對治而煩惱厚重不覺而起，准應不犯，反上皆犯。

Seventh, permissible and non-permissible cases: if it is to discipline them to make them repent, if it is to tame them to make them abide in good practices, or if although one frequently applies counter-remedies, one's afflictions are thick and heavy and arise unconsciously, according to the standard there should be no offense; the opposite of the above are all offenses.
