七、通塞者，若自病、若無力、若彼實無德似有德、若為調伏彼、若為調伏餘眾生、若慢惑猛利對治力弱，亦應不犯。若怠惰犯輕，反上皆重。

Seventh, permissible and non-permissible cases: if one is ill oneself, or lacks capacity, or the other genuinely lacks virtue though appearing to have virtue, or if it is to tame the other, or to tame other sentient beings, or if the delusion of arrogance is fierce and violent while the power of counter-remedies is weak, there should also be no offense. If it is due to indolence, one commits a minor offense; the opposite of the above are all grave.
