4.31

Seventh, the retribution incurred: slandering the Three Jewels is a sin equal to the five heinous crimes, falling into the Avīci Hell, as stated in the "Niraya Chapter" of the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra. Furthermore, just as Dharma Master Weiyi slandered the Mahāyāna and fell into hell for many kalpas, and afterwards was born among humans always blind without eyes, as stated in such texts as the Sarvadharmāpravṛtti Sūtra; furthermore, just as Udraka Rāmaputra will be in hell, and so forth. Furthermore, the Dazhidulun states that wrong view incurs ten sins. (To be examined and recorded.)
