Fifth, regarding deficiency of conditions: lacking the first two conditions, there is entirely no offense. Within lacking the third condition, if one has a minor affliction oneself and thereupon abandons and leaves them, one incurs a minor offense; if severe, there is no offense. Within lacking the fourth condition, if one gives rise to a resentful mind but does not abandon and leave them, or gives rise to a compassionate mind and abandons and leaves them, both incur a minor offense, as expounded in the Dharmaguptaka Vinaya.
