2.119

若佛子！常應發一切願，孝順父母、師僧、三寶。願得好師、同學、善知識，常教我大乘經律、十發趣、十長養、十金剛、十地，使我開解，如法修行，堅持佛戒，寧捨身命，念念不去心。若一切菩薩不發是願者，犯輕垢罪。

"Disciples of the Buddha! You should constantly make all vows to be filial and obedient to your parents, teachers, the saṅgha, and the Three Jewels. Vow to obtain good teachers, fellow students, and kalyāṇamitras who constantly teach me the Mahāyāna sūtras and vinaya, the ten determinations, the ten nourishments, the ten adamantine stages, and the ten grounds, enabling me to attain understanding, to cultivate practice in accord with the Dharma, and to firmly uphold the Buddha's precepts, rather abandoning bodily life, not departing from them in thought after thought. If any bodhisattva does not make these vows, they commit a duṣkṛta offense."
