The Buddha told the Buddha-sons: "There are ten parājika prātimokṣas. If one who has received the bodhisattva precepts does not recite these precepts, they are not a bodhisattva, not a seed of the Buddha. I have briefly explained the marks of the prātimokṣa; you should train in them and uphold them with a reverent mind."
