If a disciple of the Buddha, toward their own Buddhist disciples, non-Buddhists, evil people, the six relations, and all kalyāṇamitras, does not teach each one of them to receive and uphold the Mahāyāna sūtras and vinaya, does not teach them to understand the meanings and principles and cause them to arouse the bodhicitta, and among the thirty mental states, to understand each in its order, method, and application; but rather the bodhisattva, with an evil mind or an angry mind, perversely teaches the sūtras and vinaya of the two vehicles and śrāvakas, non-Buddhist treatises of wrong views, and the like, they commit a duṣkṛta offense.
