The commentary says: The sixth bhūmi. Mentioning the chapter as 'Radiance of Flowers' is because the direct cause of prajñā illuminates the objective sphere and destroys darkness. Next, within the practice of the bhūmi, after the initial general designation, from 'divine eye clarity' downwards it specifically reveals the ten supernormal powers. As for the ten supernormal powers: First, the supernormal power of the divine eye, knowing that the great form of atom-sized particles is divided into the bodies of sentient beings of the six destinies, and that each single body is broken down into great form, also knowing them division by division. Second, the supernormal power of the divine ear; 'neither non-tones nor non-sounds' means, traditionally explained, also knowing the emptiness of sounds; 'the sounds of all dharmas' refers to all remaining sounds, or some say hearing the teachings of the Dharma conch and so forth. Third, the supernormal power of the divine body, which is the supernormal power of psychic transformation, knowing all form and knowing form's nature of non-form and so forth, in a single thought reaching the extent of the lands of the ten directions, manifesting dust-particle-numbered bodies equal to that amount of time according to the size of the land throughout the measures of kalpas of the three times. Fourth, the supernormal power of the divine mind, which is the knowledge of others' minds. Fifth, the supernormal power of divine beings, knowing human affairs, which is the knowledge of former abodes. Sixth, the supernormal power of divine liberation, which is the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements, because he knows the expedients of liberation of sentient beings; 'exhausted and exhausted completely' means extinguishing the ten obstructions. The subsequent four supernormal powers are all distinctions of the knowledge of others' minds, established as four according to successively knowing others' concentration, wisdom, mindfulness, and vows. 'Neither concentration nor non-concentration' is because the essential natures of the above two minds are empty. 'Thirty minds' refers to the minds before the bhūmis. 'All seekings' refers to seeking, cultivating, and severing with regard to dharma and non-dharma. 'Yet that amount' means only explaining that amount of ten supernormal clarities, briefly explained with regard to Śākyamuni.
